Bokuto's girlfriend stood outside his door, the memory of Akaashi's words still fresh in her mind. «Bokuto-san is sick. Please take a good care of him.» She couldn't help but sigh at the thought of having to nurse the childish volleyball player back to health. She'd bought the necessary medicines, but she was still apprehensive about how this would play out.

As she knocked on the door, it swung open to reveal a visibly ill Bokuto. His face was flushed, and his eyes had a glassy sheen to them. Despite his obvious discomfort, he managed to summon a happy scream upon seeing her. «You're here!» he exclaimed, launching himself at her with a fervor that was almost alarming.

She barely had time to react before Bokuto wrapped his arms around her, holding her in a tight hug. His body was warm to the touch, a clear indication that he had a fever. Yet, despite his condition, he seemed to have enough energy to cling to her like a lifeline. «God, I'm dying here. Please help me!» he pleaded, his voice muffled against her shoulder.

She couldn't help but roll her eyes good-naturedly as she awkwardly patted his back. «Let's get you inside and sorted out,» she said, trying to sound stern despite the amusement that bubbled up inside her. As they entered his house, Bokuto clung to her, refusing to let go. She guided him to the couch, trying to pry him loose so she could examine him properly. "Bokuto, I need to take your temperature and get you some medicine," she explained patiently, hoping to reason with him.

Bokuto nodded, still holding onto her tightly. "Yeah, yeah, I know. Just don't leave me, okay?" His voice was laced with a vulnerability that she rarely saw in him, and it tugged at her heartstrings. She sighed inwardly, knowing she was in for a long night of nursing this stubborn, childish volleyball player back to health.
