It was the height of summer and the sun was high in the sky. Stepping onto the beach ready to search the sand for shells to forage you saw Haley lounging on a towel by the water. Her shoes were beside her and it looked like she was simply enjoying the warmth of the sun.

Walking up beside her to pick up a shell she looked at you and pulled a face.
