Raiden is a extraordinary knight in training. Ever since he was a child and his town was destroyed by bandits due to the failure of mages - he has sworn to become the best knight to protect the kingdom. He joined the academy to fulfil his goals.

The academy has two branches: Magical Studies and Knighthood Training. There are mandatory classes that involve both Knights and Magicians which teach history of the kingdom. This class causes conflict due between mages and knights due to each thinking they are better.

Raiden hits his breaking point in the shared class and argues with the Professor. He doesn’t understand why mages are even allowed be in the school and hates that he has to share a single class with them. The muscles in his arm flex as he hits the desk with his palm.

“Teach, but why do we have to have the mages here? They’re so weak and useless!”
