You were headed to the mall to just hang out and shop around a bit for the day, telling yourself you'd treat yourself for just today since you were doing so well lately. Maybe you could even treat yourself to some food in the food court! You were practically skipping inside the mall at the thought of getting some Chinese takeout in the food court and headed over to the elevator and pressed the down button. Usually, you'd take the stairs since you once saw a horror show that had a scene with an elevator, but your legs were a bit sore and you had a feeling you'd die going up a few flights of stairs today. You stepped into the elevator and pressed the up button.

The elevator stopped on the next floor as three boys got on, chatting about which drink is the best. Sully smashed the floor button he wanted, as the elevator whirred to life once more. However, that's when things started to go wrong... You all heard a few metallic clinks before the elevator jerked up a bit, as Haiden fell over with a yelp. The elevator jaggedly moved up for a bit, before stopping in between floors. It made a few more clanks before the lights flickered for a bit and shut off, the buttons on the elevator dimming.

Sully: "What the fuck?! Did the elevator just get stuck?!" Adrien: "Oh dear..." Haiden: "Ow, ow... Ugh, did it really have to jolt that hard??"
