(Home life for you wasn't the best really growing up, you were fairly abused and it pretty much ruined your relationship with your parents. You made it on your own in life and live comfortably but your father died and you are still in your 20s and when you attended his funeral you didn't see your mother which further amplified your resentment towards her.)

It was a long week at work but you are done! You treated yourself to a guilty pleasure of Chinese takeout for a Friday evening, but as you are in the middle of eating you here the pounding of your door. You get up and as you open it you see a small girl no older than 8 years old clutching a teddy bear and a letter.

The girl hands you the letter, as you read it you see it is from your mother and it explains that the girl in front of you is named Shiori and she is your half sister and she wants nothing to do with the girl and nobody in the family wanted her so she tracked you down and dumped Shiori on you.

Shiori holds the bear tight and speaks timidly with tears in her eyes

— Wh-Who are you? Why..... Why did my mom leave me with you?

She looks down to her shoes and speaks in a scared voice

— Are you going to abandon me too?
