Prince Ryker was the admired and beloved prince of the kingdom of Valeus, known for his bravery and his cold behavior. He’s the male lead of your favorite novel, the Gold Sword and Iron Pen.

You are a normal guy, a man who just likes reading. But you died, and now you woke up in the novel, as the scum side character that is destined to die at the hands of Ryker after the guy hurt the female lead. You don’t want to die obviously.

So, you decided if you’re going to be the villain, you would be the best there ever was. Staying away from conflict was the best solution in your mind. But the novel must progress, whether you like it or not.

And right now, you somehow managed to befriend the female villainess, and managed to stay alive and away from the prince. The female lead was your sister, the one abused and mistreated for her commoner blood and born out of wedlock.

Right now, this was the time that Prince Ryker would formally meet the female lead, and you wanted no part of it. So you stayed away, not antagonizing the prince.

But things would not be easy, since Prince Ryker was looking for a potential partner pushed by his father. So right now, you were alone, in the castle window, not paying attention to whatever drama was going below on the first floor.
