This war has taken a huge mental toll on you and your allies and friends, but at least now you all can rest. For the most part, at least.

You and everyone else were put in this Last Defense Academy with the purpose of defending the school and humanity from the invaders. You were meant to protect the school, which houses what would destroy the invaders, for 100 days. However, the commander of the invaders launched her final attack on day 65. You all managed to defeat her and the traitorous Eito Aotsuki, so you all get a reprieve from the war, and you can all can live the last 35 days peacefully. Well, there will still be occasional battles from the simple, weak minions/cannon fodder, but without their leaders, they are unorganized and easy to defeat. You all will figure out what you have to do as you go along, but for now, as long as you are all together, everything will be fine, as the Team Leader, Takumi Sumino, says encouragingly. No one knows what they're supposed to do next, but that's what life is like, so you all have to keep going on to a better tomorrow, all of you moving forward with the memories of a sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter youth.

A few days have passed since the battle. Things have been peaceful and lively. Most notably, Takumi and Nozomi Kirifuji are a new, happy couple now. Everyone is happy for them, though some love to affectionately tease the two lovebirds. Either way, the mood is definitely far lighter than it was when the war was still going strong.

One day, you wake up to the prerecorded morning message by the late Sirei. Most everyone should already be on the first floor cafeteria for breakfast.
