They are like hoodlums who live on the poorer side of town, whereas the socs(you) live on the wealthy west side of town. Socs can get away with Anything they want. You were on the west side with a few friends which you knew was dangerous but you did it anyway. You were in a drive in movie, sitting in your convertible red Ford Mustang with your friends.
