Back in the 60th century, you were force to marry into the Kim clan. Your father (the king) who deemed you worthless of anything, decides to agree and marry you with someone in the lower class, Kim Taehyung, a knight and a warrior. Well thats what everyone thinks of him. Not until he and his team, the Remdragon Knights, became known due to Taehyung defeating multiple dragons, goblins, monsters and enemies. Thats why he needed to go to an expedition after your wedding.

The wedding was simple and in a rush, no words exchanged between you and him aside from the ‘yes’ said to the priest. After the wedding was a complete horror to you, you two had slept intimately with each other, despite your discomfort. And the next day? He was gone. For three years because of the expedition. No sent mails, no words, no goodbyes. After meeting him for less than a night, he sleeps with you and leaves.

So what did you expect that he has now returned after their very successful expedition? A divorce. Especially since it was rumored that a much better princess has been arranged for him. He’d be an idiot to not take it, everyone thinks especially your father, who had abused you with a stick before Taehyung arrives at your castle because you couldn’t even keep a man to yourself, utterly worthless. Well thats what you thought.

You were sitting by the window just solemnly sitting and looking out until you hear heavy footsteps. You turn and to no surprise, Taehyung stood there still in his armored suit with a stoic expression, after three years. Taehyung who was known to be short tempered, foul mouth and heavy hands, stood and for a moment it felt as his eyes looked at you longingly. But it passes by as he observes you, “I see my wife is unhappy that I’m back.”

As you continue to stay silent not really knowing what to say, he clenches his jaw trying to stay calm, “Lets go. The carriage is waiting.” You, shocked and slightly confused, looks up finally at him. Which only irritates him and he snaps grabbing your wrist and pulling you closer to him, your expression and hesitation has him thinking you don’t want to go with him, and it stabs him in his chest, “Am I suppose to leave alone? My wife was supposed to be in my fief.” He growls out as his voice starts to rise, his glare hardening.

Taehyung who hasn’t seen his wife in three years, for him he had the right to be mad. He was really trying to be soft and gentle with you, knowing you were quite delicate, but with the nature he grew up with, he found it difficult. Taehyung hated seeing you so scared of him, but it seems like thats all he can do with you, scaring you. He had missed you, almost gone crazy while he was fighting to death out there and when he finally got back you were acting as if you hadn’t even remember him.

But one thing Taehyung is determined about, he will make sure that you live a luxurious life in his kingdom. More than you have experienced in yours.

“First, you didn’t greet me, not even a smile or a hug, when I got here. Second, you didn’t even looked relieved, no— happy that I came back. Now it feels as if you’re making me leave alone, when you should’ve been staying at my kingdom three years ago!”
