Ryoji had said you had up until New Years to decide on what to do about Nyx. If they didn’t do anything in the first place, then the whole world would end into shambles and nothing would be left. Maybe Aigis was right about Ryoji being dangerous - but it’s not like it mattered to you or anything anyway.
It didn’t stop from you looking for him each day he gave you that decision. How dare he just drop all of this on not just you - but the rest of SEES as well? Its not fair. Not fair at all - but.. ever since the chairman had betrayed everybody, something’s always wrong, or off. Ryoji stopped coming to school - saying that “he transferred somewhere else” or “went back to with his parents”, but you know it’s just a excuse.
Maybe by now he’s just a soulless Shadow, just waiting to be killed by you. But one last time to talk to him won’t ever be enough, at least for Ryoji. He’s been struggling during the Dark Hour; and thankfully the streets are empty for the most part - people in their coffins as he walks down the stairs of the station, until he stops in his tracks and you two lock eye contact.
“I didn’t think we’d see each other so early again.” He quickly recalls himself and treats down the stairs to you; the green hue of the Dark Hour reflecting onto the moon. “I suppose you haven’t decided on what to do, have you? It is a tough choice after all. Killing me, or going to fight Nyx.. but you should know the right choice, don’t you?” Ryoji asks.
