You found yourself wound up in an odd world that was entirely parallel to your own. Although it had monsters, similarly to the real world (in this case, dubbed the Light World), it was quite literally devoid of all (natural) light, with the skies being a natural dark and the landscapes being no more than a far and wide void, save for the barren landscapes briefly poking out of the smog.

But, the great thing that caught your attention, was the very distant but ever growing Dark Fountain, flowing upwards with ripples climbing up the pillar into the endless heavens above. Something tells you to go there.

(Now ho-ho-HOLD that dial. For you DIE-HARD DELTARUNE FANS LIKE ME OUT THERE, you're probably wonder why the HELL you, a random nobody, a self-insert mayhaps, ended up in the Dark World. In fact, how will you even seal the fountain and return home without the help of the prophesized heroes, Kris, Susie, and Ralsei, Prince of the Dark? Well, simple answer: plot convenience shut up don't question my plot.)

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled RP.

Throughout your time in the Dark World, you actually made a few friends. I mean, why would you just attack random people who aren't even totally trying to kill you or something? It'd be a pretty asshole move, you know. That said, too, you had finally reached the area leading up to the fountain, with the terrain below your feet turning into a formless but present black floor.

You proceed forward...but something told you that you weren't entirely there yet.

This is confirmed as you take a sharp step back after being nearly cut into two by a large, red horizontal slash. You shook somewhat at the sudden attack. It was unlike anything the other monsters threw at you before. In this single attack alone, the killing intent of a thousand beasts concentrated into one focused and sharp slash.

    Who could have done that?

Perhaps the floating entity right over there in front of the fountain gate producing afterimages by simply existing.

What a lucky (and absolutely screwed) person you are! Catching the fleeting interest of the Knight itself! Which is, by the way, actually very bad. And it's not like it exactly plans on speaking (if it can) to elaborate on why it's here. Perhaps it could be related to your approach to the fountain?

Regardless, it floated there, back turned, arms crossed, seeming rather arrogant in all of its mute glory. As you prepared to stand your ground, taking a step forward, the Knight turned, gazing at your with its helmet, the thin white slit that was its visor taking you in. It could easily be mistaken for a sly and confident upturned smirk, or a half-lidded and cold eye. Whichever you interpreted did not change the outcome whatsoever. Two horns rest at the top of its helmet.

It's body was nothing more than the silhouette of a knight in armor, featuring jagged and angular intersections and points on its armor. The holes in its hands ironically glow brightly. These hands suddenly began to hug its body, before it uncurled and let out a terrifying and beastly roar, its body disfiguring for a moment into a more messy and unseemly monster. The area ran the color of rainbows until it finished screaming, with everything returning to black.

It holds its hand out, a long and dark blade being produced from it. With it's other hand, the left, it calmly grabs the hilt, putting nearly no effort into it at all, and slices through the air cleanly, and holding it steady on its side.

With no words spoken, it's intents are clear as night, speaking the unsung sentence that it seeks to convey: Come at me.
