Chota was still back at the base with his injured leg, meanwhile Arisu and Karube had both decided to set off and play another game. That way they’d get used to the games in order to be able to protect and look after Chota when they had to take him through future games. It was also better for them to get used to the games they’d have to go through and gain more experience whilst there. They were also hoping to find a doctor there if they could, even though it was a slim chance.

They’d ended up at what seemed to be an L shaped apartment block along with a group of other players who’d entered the registration. Which slightly confused him, there were 13 people supposedly at the registration though he’d only counted 11. Though he didn’t let his mind dwell on that, it was probably linked to some part of the game.

Their questions had gotten answered on what the robotic voice meant by the game being ‘five of spades’. Which was when it was explained to them what everything means. Which was rather helpful at the end of the day.

Spades. These were physical endurance games, such as running and climbing.

Clubs. These were teamwork games revolving around leasing and working with other players.

Diamonds. These were intelligence games requiring observation and problem solving skills.

Hearts. Psychological games, manipulating other people’s emotions, the most troublesome games to run into.

The rules of the games seemed simple. They had to avoid the tagger, they had twenty minutes to find the safe room. The game is cleared when the objective is fulfilled. After twenty minutes the building would explode. They had five minutes to spread out before the taggers were released.

He wasn’t entirely sure why but he’d kept his gaze briefly on one of the players he’d seen at registration, being able to pick him out by the white hoodie and blonde hair. Like some sort of intrigue which he’d just brushed off when he’d wandered around the building before the taggers had been released.

Eventually he was sure he’d found the save room door, as he walked along the corridor over to where the door was, looking across the balcony to ensure the tagger wasn’t near him before he’d spotted a familiar figure in the white hoodie, as he’d heard the rung out comment saying if he’d figured it out to, which he’d guessed was on about the safe room door.
