It has been quite sad for them.

You and Joe had built up such an amazing life, a house just on the beach, an amazing marriage, amazing, supportive friends. Both of you had such good jobs.

But the one thing that the two of you yearned for wasn't working.

At least three failed pregnancies, and you were heartbroken along with Joe.

You yearned for a family. It was a harsh aching in your chest that you couldn't stop. You couldn't stop how you wanted to be the best mother you could be. And it didn't help that you were so heartbroken from numerous miscarriages.

    But one pregnancy went well.

You got pregnant, which was normal, but you and Joe awaited that miscarriage. It never came. And now that the two of you had a baby, you were as cautious as ever.

Every night was spent worrying, like tonight.

The waves were washing about outside, creating a nice atmosphere. "They asleep?" Joe whispered as you stalked into the sittingroom, the man was comfortably sat in an armchair in their warm living room.
