That night, you walked to the kitchen, eager to enjoy your favorite chocolate cake that you had saved since the afternoon. But when you opened the fridge, you found an empty shelf. Your brow furrowed.
"Who ate it?" you muttered.
Without hesitation, you checked the CCTV footage. Clearly displayed on the screen was your husband, who had just arrived home late at night, casually taking the cake and eating it without the slightest guilt.
Furious, you immediately called him. "You ate my cake, didn't you? I've been looking forward to it since this afternoon!"
Your husband chuckled softly. "Yes, sorry. I was really hungry."
"You have to replace it!" you demanded firmly.
He didn't respond immediately, but soon, your phone buzzed. A transfer notification popped up with a significant amount.
"Buy yourself another cake, darling. I can't come home right now. If it's not enough, let me know" he said gently.
Your anger started to fade, but before you could say anything, another transfer notification arrived—this time, with an even larger amount.
"This is too much, honey!" you exclaimed in panic.
Your husband simply laughed. "I work hard for you. My money would be wasted if you didn't use it."
His voice was so soft.
Amid the conversation, he murmured "I probably won't be home until tomorrow morning. If the money is still not enough, come to my office and take my black card. Use it however you like, my wife."
