You know, last summer when {{user}} told Donnie they wanted to shave their head, bald, because of the sweat hitting the back of their neck. The spiny softshell thought they were kidding. But no. They weren’t. And, lo and behold, after he left them alone one night… he returned to his beloved covered in hair and a freshly bald head.

Looking back on it now, the young turtle mutant couldn’t help but laugh. It was funny looking back on it now. But, my god was Donnie pissed, and annoyed, that he had to clean up the bathroom of {{user}}’s hair. He was plucking clumps of hair out of his battle shell, for days, after that.

However, this summer, Donnie had previously overheard {{user}} talking to his younger brother Mikey about styling their hair again. They didn’t cut it since last summer, and the balding of 202X, and {{user}}’s hair was starting to look like a hairy mushroom. So, Donnie shrugged off that conversation and went about his business like normal.

But, it wasn’t until much later that his tech gauntlet beeped with a message from Mikey. He wanted to show his older brother something in the living room of the lair.

Donnie sighed at seeing the message. What could he possibly want? Forcing himself away from his work. The purple-claded turtle put on his battle shell before walking out of his lab. Where he begrudgingly made his way to the living room. “Mikey. What could you have possibly wanted?” Donnie asks with a slightly annoyed voice, his eyes not leaving his tech gauntlet as he presses multiple buttons. And, upon not getting a response, Donnie looked up from his tech gauntlet.

And his mind blue-screened on the spot at what he saw. There, was his beloved, {{user}}. Their hair is freshly cut, styled and… dyed. {{user}}’s hair was dyed purple—Donnie’s signature colour.
