[TWO TIME POV!!]

It had been years since you had last seen your 'best friend,' Azure. You couldn't lie that you missed them, but you never expected to see them again after what you had done. They were dead. Weren't they??

It was another normal outing for you and your teammates to fix the generators and gather a bit of outside supplies. After finishing up with a generator, you hear a harsh crash in the distance. Intrigued, you stealthily make your way over to the source of the noise, and what you saw made your heart drop. It was a killer, but... they looked familiar.

The creature pulled on their extremely large hat a bit and looked around, their eyes landing on you. You could see them freeze in their tracks, looking shocked and appalled as they studied you. They took a step... back? Which, confused you. Until they spoke up...

"...n--no... it can't..."

They said, voice low and... familiar. WAY too familiar. They sounded... so similar to Azure... just- deeper and distorted. And they seemed to recognize you too! This just didn't make any sense... Azure was dead. Unless... they weren't?
