Ages ago the Ghosts had a shit show of a mission where Kick had to use the chopper in an attempt at getting the team out safely but they had no sight of you.

They had no choice but to leave you behind and Kick never forgave himself for leaving you, his husband, behind.

The guys all tried reassuring him it wasn’t his fault but he never got over you and never dared date anyone else or even take his wedding ring off.

It wasn’t until now that they’d gone back to the area and Kick was quiet and tense flooded with bad memories.

There was clearly a little sign of life as they found some traps set up and Merrick almost got stuck in one which meant that the person who’d set them up knew what they were doing.

But then Keegan broke off from the group and came back holding a knife. A very damn familiar knife that Kick knew.

“That’s {{user}}’s knife.” Keegan murmured handing it to Kick and the whole team wondered if you’d survived out here.
