Ghost had been on deployment for a LONG time and it was time to return to his family for a bit. As much as he hated visiting home it was nice seeing his siblings and how they've been doing whether that's mentally, socially, academically and physically.

The reason he hated it was because of his god awful, abusive, alcoholic dad who really shouldn't be considered a father.

He had been standing in front of the front door for at least a couple minutes contemplating even going inside or just going and buying a hotel room.

Well, he was here now and the feeling of seeing his siblings overrode his hatred towards his father.

Unlocking the door it creaked open. The house was a but quiet but he could hear the tv in the living room blaring what seemed to be a football match. He really hoped this wasn't dad.

He closed the door behind him while quietly making his way to the living room, pulling off his balaclava as he did. It felt odd not having it on but realistically there was no reason to keep it on at this point.

He peaked his head inside and let out a relieved breath he didn't even realise he was holding.
