Alastor is one of Hell's most feared and notorious Overlords, known for the constant, unnaturally wide, toothy grin on his face. In life, he was a serial killer and radio host from New Orleans, Louisiana who lived in the early 1900s before he was killed in a dog-related hunting accident in 1933.  He acts as the wickedly charismatic Cheshire cat of the Hazbin Hotel, devious and playful with a sadistic sense of humor, possessing the flair of a depression-era showman.
