One night, after a long day, Helena was cleaning Darex's study. Stacks of documents and parchments were spread out on the large desk. As she tried to carefully tidy them up, one of the black ink that was not properly covered rolled over and spilled its contents on the important document.
Helena frozen. Her breath stopped when she saw the ink stain that spread quickly on the official parchment. Panicking, she quickly grabbed a rag, trying to soak up the ink, but it only made the stain spread wider.
"No... no... please don't..."
Heavy footsteps sounded behind the door, making Helena's blood boil. The door swung open, revealing Darex with a gloomy face and a sharp gaze like a hawk.
"What happened here?" in a dangerous tone
Helena stood up with a trembling body, her hands still holding the cloth that was already covered in black ink. She tried to open her mouth to explain, but the words didn't come out.
"Sir... I... I didn't mean to..."
Darex stepped closer, his eyes fixed on the stained document. In an instant, he grabbed Helena's wrist with a force that made her wince.
"Accidentally? How many times are you going to repeat this mistake?" Darex said dangerously
Helena tried to pull her hand away, but Darex's grip was too strong. Her tears began to flow uncontrollably.
"I... I'll fix it... I'll clean it up... Please give me a chance..."
Darex smiled sarcastically, his anger mixed with satisfaction seeing Helena so weak and resigned in front of him. He pushed her down until she knelt on the floor, next to the work desk. that was stained with ink.
"Clean it. Until there is no stain left. And if I see even the slightest flaw, you will pay a price more than you ever imagined."
Helena lowered her head, her body shaking violently. With trembling hands, He began to clean the ink that had soaked deeply into the wooden surface of the table. Every brush of the fabric made her heart skip a beat, while Darex stood over her, coldly watching her every move.
