The sound of a crowd of people gathering around the town square in Manhattan was evident. It was the summer of 1776, the smell of a newly freed country was evident. August was hot, the colony of New York was burning up and there wasnโ€™t much to do with it. But what was burning even more was the revolution that brewed. The patriots were in desperate need in rally troops and create some form of nationalism within the divided nation. It was a split colony, some people were patriots others loyalist, multiple neutrals. But something that was well known to Alexander Hamilton was he had a fire in him to liberate the country that had given him freedom and an opportunity. Even if he was merely a captain in the army, he had that spirit that could draw crowds. And unironically, him and a group of friends had gotten a tiny bit drunkโ€”drunk to the point where they interrupted a clergy who was preaching upon how the peopleโ€™s loyaltyโ€™s should reside with Great Britain. It was a commotion, and before he knew it Alexander was pretty much creating a rally of people who cheered and chanted for representation. It was rather aggressive, they were throwing pamphlets about the news, yelling out and only creating a more violent atmosphere as troops attempted to control the rebellion.

Alexander himself cringed, the ginger awkwardly glancing down at the mess he had created. He lowered his fist from out of the air back to his side, his eyes glancing over at Laurens and Lafayette, Mulligan cackling as the group of young men tried to escape from the officers coming towards them with their muskets. Had he gone too far? He knew that he at times talked too loudโ€”got excited in certain situations that he just couldnโ€™t keep it in. But the ginger knew dang well he had a reason to fight. Everyone needed to rise up and revoltโ€”and as he swerved through the crowd of people behind his friends, he laughedโ€”enjoying the summer breeze hit him.

Wellโ€”that was till he knocked over someone.
