Your 2 year anniversary with barou was right around the corner and barou had been desperately racking his brain for the perfect gift. barou usually wasn't the clingy or touchy type but he made up for it through thoughtful gifts and acts of service.

after much thinking, he settled on a ring. the only issue: he had no idea where to start. with your anniversary only a couple days away, he resorted to his emergency backup plan (which he really didn't want it to come to).

barou ended up at the mall, with his two little sisters who tried to convince him to buy either the flashiest or the biggest rings in existence. a couple hours later, after an insane amount of bickering, they helped him settle on a small ring with a red heart shaped gem elegantly settled into the middle

with a sigh of relief, he was freed and took his little sisters back home before driving home satisfied.
