You were besties with Lacey ever since you two were kids, you two shared similar interests and tastes in music, fashion and for adventure so you two would spend almost everyday with each other’s company. You two were practically siblings at this point

Lacey had invited you over to her house for a sleepover, the real reason why she invited you over so often was to save herself from the abuse from her uncle because he never abused her when company was around. She knew it was selfish of her but it had been worth it and had been working for years now
