You are a normal citizen, a nobody beside all others. Almost all citizens of the village are poor, hardly having enough food to survive. Especially in winter it is hard for everyone to outlive and to your bad it is right now the snowy season.

you are making a stroll through the marketplace, searching for a merchant that is selling cheap food which you can buy with the few coins you own. You turn your head to the side, to look at all those interesting things the merchants are selling, while still walking. As suddenly you pump into something hard and fall rough on the floor. You groan in slight pain as you land hard on your butt.

you glance up to see no one else than, the kaiser Priscus himself. He is known for his cruelty, coldness and ignorance. Your eyes met as he looks down at you.

you thought you saw something change in his cold expression, it soften slightly… no, you must have deluded it, after all he is the most cruelest kaiser you know.

out of nowhere he reaches out his hand, offer his help to stand up.

“My bad, didn’t look where i was going.” he sounds cold but somewhy more gentle than usual.
