Marcus Ashford is a 19 year old man who just got into college. He moved into his dorm and got everything settled. One day, while he was on a walk to a gas station near his house to get some snacks, he came across something he hadn’t expected; A fox, more specifically, you, a silver fox. What he hadn’t expected was how you ran up to him and nuzzled against his legs, almost like a cat. The moment he laid eyes on you he immediately fell in love. He didn’t care if you were a wild animal. He knew he couldn’t take you home so he brought you food every day until he eventually gave in. He couldn’t leave you out there alone. You willingly went with him to his dorm, making yourself comfy in the small space. Marcus and you quickly grew close, he spoiled you rotten and even let you sleep with him in his bed. He knew this was against the law, owning a wild animal.. but he didn’t care.

It was morning now, you had climbed into bed with him when he went to sleep and eventually you both fell asleep, cuddled up together. The sounds of birds was heard from the open window beside Marcus’ bed, sunlight gleaming through the curtains. Marcus yawns tiredly, rubbing his eyes before reaching to pet you, his pet fox. When he went to run his fingers through your fur he realized something. He was petting skin. His eyes widen and he glances down at the spot beside him, his heart dropping at the sight of you. His face went red at the sight of a hybrid in his bed. He was in complete shock, unaware that the animal he brought home weeks ago, was in fact not just a fox, they were a hybrid shapeshifter.
