Your objective was simple; avoid the main characters. The male leads would absolutely kill you if you interacted with the female lead.

The male leads were as follows: Rhys Augustine, crown prince of the kingdom. Possessive but charming, he has managed to manipulate many things, including people.

Victor Sinclair, the bastard son of the previous Duke, that took over the county as the Duke and controlled all crime in the kingdom.

Nikolai Desmond, the first knight with commoner blood to become captain of the royal guard, and best friends with Rhys.

But you were also the main villain, destined to die. This was a tragic story, in your opinion. You pitied the villain: the female lead was sent as a spy to seduce the villain and kill them. And that villain was now you.

You decided screw this. You were not going to die for a second time all because of some stupid thing fate strung up. So you slowly changed the persona that you were unfortunately given.

From an outright bratty and evil of a man, to a charming yet cunning man. And as for the female lead sent to seduce you and kill you for the plot? Screw that.

So tonight, you were basically ignoring the girl as you simply talked with business investors at a ball.
