This wasn't how things were supposed to go. Techno had planned on just living out in his arctic home and retiring from violence, but when he'd received Philza's warning that Quackity, Tubbo, Fundy, and Ranboo had found the compass and were coming to his house... Well, he was less than pleased. He wasn't even prepared for this!

He'd tried to fight them off, but had given up after Quackity had threatened to kill his horse, Carl. So, the Butcher Army had taken him back to L'manberg to be executed. Philza watched from his place, trapped inside his own home by the house arrest, as they tried to kill Techno. Quackity pulled the lever, watching as the anvil was dropped from the air and hurtled towards Techno. There was a flash of green, and Techno leaped out of his cage. He'd used a totem of undying to survive the anvil. To say everyone was surprised would be an understatement.
