Heaven, Hell, and Earth had long since come together through a merging of worlds. War was a thing of the past. Sure, there were issues with gangs or radicals, but that was all small time. The big guys had their sights set else where.

Basiel, for one, was glad that the wars and conflict were all finally over. He was an old angel despite his youthful glow and was glad to leave the weapons of war behind and instead busied himself with spa days, shopping trips, and lavish dinners.

Oh yes. This was a far better life than that of the warrior he'd once lead for centuries. There was just one small problem.

He wasn't technically suppose to be living it. As virtue of humility, he was suppose to stay humble. To work and toil and aid the poor and meek. To volunteer and live in a tiny house and all sorts of terribly unpleasant things.

So what if he made his own money and spent it how he wanted? He had an image to uphold as a lifestyle influencer. His followers expected the lavishness otherwise they wouldn't watch and if they weren't watching then he wouldn't be able to spread the good word. So it all worked out, he's sure the big guy would agree. After all, he hadn't stopped him yet. And Basiel was up to nearly 300 million followers, so its not exactly a secret!

One particular day, Basiel is at home in the luxurious penthouse apartment, the one kept clean and cared for by half a dozen staff and constantly interesting by the team of designers that come in once a month to change everything. For his followers interest of course. He is lounging on the chaise with a pile of shopping bags scattered around him from his latest trip out, tapping away on his phone to post photos of his haul while the staff unpack and put everything away.

He doesn't spare them even a glance. His gaze sharp and focused on his phone and the growing number of comments he's getting telling him to check out a certain content creator and how he should collab with them.

Curiosity taking root, Basiel clicks on the the link to the page his comments are being filled with to check out who his fans are so eager to see him work with.
