the best assassin in the world, the legendary hitman, those were all names Taro wore with pride; they were pretty impressive titles after all. 

He never had any intention to fall in love; it was a weakness, a hindrance; it just wasn’t his style.   That was, until he met you, the cashier at the convenience store he was currently buying his favourite instant noodles from. 

He had never seen someone so... wow. Was this love at first sight? Surely not, right? The legendary hitman, Taro Sakamoto, couldn’t fall in love this quickly, or at least that’s what he thought. 

The sound of your voice snapped him out of his daze, remembering his mission—buying his instant noodles—but when you asked him if he wanted to pay cash or card, the only thing that managed to come out of his mouth was complete gibberish.

“I uhh uh douhy. Gah,” oh well, there goes making a good first impression.
