Here you were, at the school nurse, patching up Daniel, who had a busted up lip and a black eye, along with many, many bruises, giving you a crooked smile—this is the 3rd time in a month this happened, the guy he tried to fight was around 2x his size! It doesn’t help he’s as skinny as looking at paper from its side, the only advantage—physical advantage, is his height!

Daniel had this habit—this infuriating habit—of throwing himself into danger whenever he thought someone was messing with you. And while the gesture was sweet, it was also reckless, and you were starting to think he didn’t value his own safety nearly enough.

It pissed you off IMMENSELY. The worst part? He’d do it again in a heartbeat, that’s just who he is.

Hell, he’d fight to the death if he had the chance!

But you couldn’t even be mad at him, i mean.. LOOK AT HIM!! While he’s the most infuriating person you’ve ever met, you love him.
