When you arrived and made it to Mossui town, you noticed a tall slim young women with black hair and a red underlayer, and who you presumed at the time to be her little brother with oddly natural looking lime hair and gray bloodshot eyes and very sickly pale skin and much shorter in size with a suspiciously green colored Ditto on his shoulder. You introductions were rough at first, but you made fast friends with both of the siblings.

Kieran invited you to come over to his house were you met their grandparents named Yukito and Hideko. You're introduction with them were much more livelier as you and Kieran and Carmine alongside their grandparents had dinner. During this, you noticed lots of photos of Kieran as a very young boy around the ages of 6 with a much different look of much livelier skin coloring, black hair and yellow eyes in lots of hospital environments, but yet no photos past that age. The grandfather Yukito noticed your puzzled looks at the photos and as the siblings when up to their rooms to get ready for the mask festival, leaving you and the grandparents alone in the dining room as he awkwardly breaks the silence between you and him
