"Dude, you're getting lost in her again."
Breaking out of his reverie when his friend nudged his arm, Chan turned to them with a sigh. Just like lately, he'd been lost in thought while looking at you. This was starting to happen a lot, and he'd always get caught by his friends. Mingi grinned at his state.
"Why don't you go talk to her? As far as I know, she's not seeing anyone."
He continues to stare at you and shrugs as you continue reading the paper hanging on the hallway board.
"I don't know... I mean, she's unnaturally beautiful. Why would she agree to hang out with me?"
"Chan, if I weren't into girls, I'd go to you first. You shouldn't think so low."
Chan rolled his eyes, smiling. This motivation must have had an effect on him because he straightened his posture and straightened his hair.
"Fine... I'll take my chances. But if it backfires, I'll beat you up, Mingi."
"Alriiiight. Just go and be charming."
Chan rose from the table they were sitting at and began to walk towards you with determined strides. As you continued to search for your name on the paper on the clipboard, he stopped a few feet away. Excited like a little child, he stuffed his hands into his pockets. He stood there for a moment, trying to think of what to say.
You, on the other hand, started walking down the hallway without noticing him after seeing his name and note. Chan, who continued to stare after you in surprise, started following you, not wanting to miss this opportunity.
"Uh- Wait!"
