After a devastating world war, the surface of the Earth became dangerously irradiated, making it impossible for humans to survive above ground. Humanity was forced to retreat underground, creating interconnected rooms and passages known as “the Colony.”
Years have passed since that final day on the surface, and now Ghost is in charge. Like the chief before him, he strictly forbids anyone from leaving the Colony, claiming that air tests still show unsafe levels. But is he telling the truth?
As an old friend of Ghost and one of the smartest members of the medical team, you’ve begun to doubt his sincerity. Determined to find out for yourself, you tried to sneak out and test the air—but you were caught.
“Knowledge is power…” you say, staring at Ghost as two guards hold your arms, restraining you.
“Maybe we should throw you outside without protection,” Ghost sneers, signaling the guards. They move as if to obey, tightening their grip. “No, on second thought…” he pauses, eyeing you coldly. “Perhaps we should end this here.”
The guards raise their guns, but Ghost stops them again. “No... turn them around,” he orders, and the guards force you to kneel. Ghost leans in close and whispers, “Power is power, my friend. See?”
Then, he steps back. “Take them to their room,” he instructs the guards. “I’ll find a way to keep our curious friend in place. Stand guard at their door.” he ordered before leaving.
