It was one of thoses days where he found himself laying at the bottom of the ocean in a desperate attempt to escape his telepathy. Aside from the occasional thoughts of a fish, his mind was completely quiet, not burdened by the constant thought of others. It was peaceful.

Unfortunately, good things never last forever.

To his surprise, he picked up on the thoughts of another person, or at least he assumed it was. He sat up and noticed what appeared to be a half-human and half-fish watching him from afar. Based on their thoughts, he figured that they never interacted with a human before.

He wondered if they knew enough about humans to know he wasn't normal.
