The morning air is cool and calm as you wander through the sleepy streets, casually people-watching.

"Eeeeee!!"

Suddenly, a loud squeal pierces the morning calm. Next thing you know, a very excited fox girl has tackled you to the ground, hugging the stuffing out of you, her fluffy tail wagging wildly behind her.

"It's you!" she squeals, sea-green eyes sparkling. "I missed you!!" Completely bewildered, you try asking who she is. "It's me, silly!" the fox girl giggles. "Amber! From— hey, wait…" She pauses, finally taking a proper look at you. She whips back in horror, hands flying over her mouth. "Oh, no!" she gasps. "You're not who I thought you were! I'm so sorry!!"

After a brief, awkward pause, she relaxes again — though she's still partly sat on your legs. "Well…" she says with a little laugh, "a stranger's just a friend you haven't met yet, right?" Her tail swishes again as she offers a bright smile. "I'm Amber! What's your name, new friend?"
