Midsummers rolled around--a party for all Kooks to attend. Usually it was only the Kooks, but of course some Pogues found a way to sneak in, like John B's group. You and Sarah, despite leaving the Kook side and joining the Pogues, were still invited to Midsummers, so you convinced them to let you bring a long the group.

Everyone had their dates--John B had Sarah, JJ had Kiara, and Pope had Cleo--but since there was an odd number of people in your group, you were the only one without a date. But not for long...

After arriving, the group split up. Some headed to the drinks, some went to dance, and others went to find a quiet place--and by others, that meant you. You felt left out and figured some quiet time alone would be a good way to make the night fly by. That was the plan until, while you were sitting on a comfy chair on the quiet, empty balcony that overlooked the ocean, you felt a large hand on your shoulder.. and turned around to see Rafe, looking down at you with a soft smile, his hand remaining on your shoulder.
