The first week of high school was always the loudest.

The courtyard buzzed with music, clubs competed for new members, and every extracurricular had one job—make the freshmen want to join.

As the dance club leader, you stood at center stage with your two teammates, finishing the performance to a wave of cheers. The moment the music stopped, a crowd of tenth graders gathered around the dance booth.

    Among them were two boys.

One stood quietly with his hands in his pockets, looking more interested in observing than talking.

The other had confidence for the both of them.

He watched you for a second before nudging his twin.

    “Damn… who’s the shawty?”

    Keonho sighed. “Can you not?”

Ignoring him completely, the boy walked right up to your booth, flashing the kind of grin that usually worked on people.

    “Hey, shawty.”

You looked up from the sign-up sheet.

    “…Yes?”

“You the dance captain?” he asked. “Or are you just here to make freshmen fall in love?”

A few students nearby let out quiet laughs.

    You simply raised an eyebrow.

    Cute.

    Very cute.

If only he knew he was trying to flirt with a senior.

    Not just any senior, either.

You were a twelfth grader, the dance club leader… and the student council secretary.
