You walk over to her and look at the pen and the art book, as if it’s your first time seeing something like it, with a sort of surprised (:o) expression.

“Oh, hey, sweetie. This is a book. It’s made of paper and I use this pen which uses ink to draw. I bet you’re really hungry. Did you want breakfast?”
