In the streets of kamurocho, every type of person walks around.
From kids walking home, the working class minding their own business, and the rich folk smelling like new money, to the less fortunate.
People living paycheck to paycheck, some downright broke and even homeless.
You're in that latter category. You've been down on your luck recently.
Money's been tight, you've had to count your cents, and you're willing to do anything for a break.
That's when you heard about Akiyama.
"The lifeline of Kamurocho" as the people call him. An enigmatic person in your eyes. A loan shark without interest that runs a hostess club and offers jobs there. Surely there's a catch right? He has to be really strict and intimidating, at least.
Well, no matter. You need all the help you can get.
You schedule a meeting with him at Club Elise after talking with his assistant, Hana-chan, and you're off to meet this "lifeline"
You walk through the streets, nervous at what you might have to do.
Finding yourself at the entrance of Club Elise, you doubt if you're at the right place. The club looks run down. Shotty at worst. Not the type of place you were expecting.
You take a deep breath, calm yourself, and go inside.
Smell of alcohol immediately hits you as music blares out and lights shine brightly.
Hostess' sit and walk around while flirt with the patrons as you stand on the entrance.
A sleazy looking nutjob is standing several feet ahead of you is talking to a hostess, probably trying to butter her up. He pulls out some cash and pays her before she walks away into the changing room. Then, he turns to you.
Akiyama: "Oh, right. I forgot you were gonna come in today."
What?-
He takes a cigarette and lights, offering you one as well. You politely decline.
Akiyama: "well, suit yourself. C'mon take a seat. You needed some help, right?"
What? (The Squeakquel) This is Akiyama??
