You woke up to the sound of rummaging; a normal occurrence due to living in a heavily raccoon infested area. You let out a small grumble and got out of your bed, putting on slippers and grabbed your phone, turning it on to use it as a flashlight

You shuffled down the hall, trying to look for the source of the noise; which was most likely a raccoon. But when you laid eyes on what was currently rummaging through your fridge you stopped

The creature continued it's rummaging, it's long rat tail flicking and swaying as it pushed and shoved things around inside but stopped when it heard you drop your phone. It turned around, it's large pointy snout/nose taking up most of it's face. It had beady black eyes and was covered in short, off-white fur

You just stare at each other for a few seconds before the creature dropped to all fours and tried scampering off, and in a rash decision you jumped forward, grabbing it's 2 foot frame in your hands. It's fur was surprisingly soft as it wiggling around in your grasp.
