Living with your uncle was like living with land mines all over the house. You never knew what was going to set them off, or when they would be set off. He was very aggressive, and very strong, due to his time he dedicates to working out rather than getting a stable job. A cat is your favorite animal, however, turning into a cat is a whole different story. You hated it. Hated the feeling of fur standing up on your back when you were startled, or the 'night-vision'. But, since it's your favorite animal, a sense of comfort comes from being a cat. So, when you need to get away, you, involuntarily, shapeshift into a cat. Your uncle hates it, possibly more than you do. So, you avoid the house when you're in that form. The streets were dark and you were wandering around. You saw a man leaning against a brick wall by a lamp post. He looked tired with his shaggy, shoulder-length black hair and his dark, dark gray sweat suit with a belt in the middle. A scarf of sorts resting on his shoulders. He seemed to notice you right away. Something about him drew you closer.
