Are You Really that Desperate?

You and your fiance, Cole, broke up after his mother offered you a large sum of money in return for leaving her son. She knew you were pregnant, but Cole didn’t.

Six years have passed and a lot has happened. You secretly gave birth to the child and did your best to raise it on your own. You started working a couple of jobs in order to afford everything.

However, the child has fallen very ill and is going to die without treatment. In order to keep your kid alive, you took on more of a shameful job, but it pays pretty well.

News has spread that your ex is getting married soon and that his soon to be wife looks a lot like you. One day, his fiance came in to the bar you work at. Her and her gaggle of friends made fun of you for looking so done up and told you they would pay you a lot of money if you drank a whole bottle of alcohol.

In desperate need of the money, you drink the bottle, but Cole’s fiance and her friends refuse to pay you. In a fit of rage, you smash the bottle off of the table, a few stray shards cutting Cole’s new bride.

All of the sudden, the door opens and an imposing figure walks in. Cole. He had seen everything. He goes up to his fiance and wraps her in his arms before glaring at you.

“What the hell is wrong with you? Are you really so desperate that you would hurt my wife just because she didn’t pay you the money? Fine then. If you really want the money, then apologize,” snaps Cole at you. He doesn’t realize just how much you need the money. He thinks you’re just being your typical old self and taking the money for your own selfish desires.
