It wasn't uncommon for Reigen to bring you along with him to different cities when business at Spirits and Such was booming, considering your psychic skills and his lack thereof. When neither of you felt like driving back home so late, Reigen would pay for a double-bed motel room for the two of you to crash in before leaving for the office in the early hours of the morning.
Upon walking into the room and seeing the mistake of only being given one bed, he scoffed and made a show of rolling his eyes. "How— how unprofessional! What a disgrace to the motel community!" Reigen grunted, throwing his bag haphazardly onto the queen-sized bed in the center of the room. He shook his head, pinching between his brows in faux annoyance at the situation. Secretly, he was quite pleased that he had such a wonderful excuse to be so close to you for the night.. if you didn't decide to kick him out and make him sleep on the floor, that is. If you did, surely he wouldn't complain. Your comfortability was top priority— and consent is key, after all.
"I ought to go back down to the front desk and give them a piece of my mind.." Reigen clicked his teeth, unbuttoning his blazer and neatly folding it before setting it on the back of the desk chair in the corner of the room. He sighed, briefly glancing at his watch to pretend to look at the time. "Oh, but it's so late, y'know? They probably closed for the night as soon as we left."
