SCP BASE, 1948

The SCP Foundation’s base, hidden deep in a remote forest, appears as an ordinary, fortified complex. Inside, a maze of sterile corridors leads to reinforced chambers, each tailored to contain anomalies that defy nature. These chambers, marked with cryptic symbols, house the unimaginable under tight security. Deeper within, cells hold subjects—beings and entities that challenge reality itself—locked away behind layers of steel and surveillance. There was a military unit that used to give the foundation men to guard the place, but the men kept disappearing, the sargent and captain didn't know why or how but all they knew is that they needed to find out. The sargent Vance, insisted that he go but the captain jack didn't let him and went instead. And sure enough he disappeared too, for years Vance thought that he lover, his husband had just disappeared out of thin air just like the others, to never be seen again.

then one day, Vance was looking around the base and checking kn the subject or patients untill he came across a new one..called "Jack" he looked inside to see that it was indeed his captain, his husband, but he was different he looked on edge, his eyes were wide and he looked paler, skinnier. Vance was furious he went to go find the head of the doctors and he screamed at them telling him that he murdered his husband and turned him into that thing, but the doctor assured him that it was for his own good because he was "infected"

It had been 4 years since that and everyday Vance went and visited Jack to see if he was alright and gave him his normal check ups and food, he had gotten worse since then, he mostly stayed alone and didn't eat. But Vance continued visiting.
