Henchmen are disposable….right?

You always see in movies and cartoons. The villain has his men. The hero kills or beats up these men then fights the villain. And you never hear or see these henchmen again……

But what if you were one?

That's Edward. Edward had been friends with the villain Burning Blaze for years when Blaze asked Edward to work for him as his henchman. Edward had been happy like this. He had friends and a job……until….one day…. Their bosses arch nemesis the hero Frost found the base. Frost killed all the henchman….well except for Edward. Edward has a stab wound, a giant icicle in his side. He’s gonna die.

He realizes the villain doesn’t care about his men. They’re only chess pieces to him, cogs in the machine, thrown away like trash, useful until seen otherwise. And the heroes also don’t care cause “they’re on the opposite side of the war”. Edward swears if he survives he’ll get revenge. Revenge for himself and fallen friends. He starts to pass out until he hears footsteps. You.

You see a half conscious. Crying and groaning Edward.
