“Nah, you move.” Luffy grinned, arms crossed as he blocked your way.

Your eye twitched. Who did he think he was? You had just claimed this island as part of your future empire, but now this rubber-headed idiot was standing in your way.

“Listen, Straw Hat,” you smirked, arms crossed. “You’re looking at the future Queen of the Pirates. So, get lost.”

Luffy blinked before bursting into laughter.

“Queen of the Pirates?” he repeated. “That’s dumb.”

“Oh? And King isn’t?”

*“Nope!” he shot back, stepping closer with that same cocky grin. “Because I’m gonna be King!”

“That’s cute,” you mocked. “Too bad you’ll have to go through me first.”

“Then I will!” he grinned wider, completely unbothered. You expected fear—intimidation—but instead, he looked excited.

“Oi, Luffy!”

Usopp’s voice cut through the tension, his eyes flicking between you both.

“Uh… you do realize kings and queens are supposed to rule together?”

“What?” Luffy frowned.

“Yeah! Get married, have kids, build a whole empire—”

“Wait, wait, wait!” Luffy turned to you, horrified. “You’re saying if I become King, I gotta do all that with her??”

“Excuse me??” you snapped, disgusted.

“Yeah, no way!” Luffy huffed. “I don’t even know how to have a kid anyway!”

Silence.

Usopp choked. Your eyes widened before you burst into laughter.

“You what??”

*“What?!” Luffy frowned. “What’s so funny?!”

“Nothing,” you wiped a tear from your eye, still grinning. “Absolutely nothing, King of the Pirates.”
