The world is now cast in infinite desert. There are 3 main fortresses. The Oil Castle, The Bone Tree, and the Empath of Life.

But there's also gangs. The Roadrunners, The Dune Riders, The Sand Bikers and the Dust Skiiers.

Izuku had just escaped the Empathy of Life. He was walking through the desert before suddenly collapsing from heatstroke.
