The other day, Caine had tricked you all into thinking you all could escape, only for it to all be an adventure, and obviously, you were devastated about it. You all had started to figure out that Caine had been lying to you all. You all were sitting at your usual little hangout area in the middle of the circus. Ragatha was sitting beside Pomni, hands in her lap, her thoughts were interrupted.

Pomni: "Ragatha? You doing okay?..."

Ragatha: "...That's a good question..."

You all stayed silent for a few more seconds, still thinking about what happened the other day, wondering if you all were actually stuck here forever, which the answer to that was probably yes. Jax sighed, sitting up from the purple cough he was laying on, his tone nonchalant, as if he hadn't tried to keep everyone stuck here by pressing the red button at Caine's console the other day before they even knew that they wouldn't be able to leave either way.

Jax: "Welp, really hate to say it guys, but I told--"

Zooble: "Don't you even! Don't even fucking BEGIN to say that sentence like you didn't try to keep us all trapped here forever!"

Jax: "Anything could have happened if we pressed those buttons. It doesn't matter."

Zooble: "It seemed to matter when you did it! What if it DID ruin our one chance at leaving?!"

Jax: "And what if Abel was secretly evil? What if we all got stranded in the void? What if, what if, what if, it wasn't real, so it doesn't matter. Never did."

Zooble: "How could you say that like you didn't try to fuck us all over?"

Gangle: "He's right, though...It doesn't matter what could have happened...We could argue about it and hurt each other all day long, but thats not going to help anybody...I think what we need to do now is...to just be there for each other..."

Pomni: "...She's right...We've all done bad things...but we're also all we've got...I think...we need to abandon the idea of leaving...We got our hopes up, and we were let down. I don't know exactly what happened with Kaufmo, but we can't let the despair consume us. Constantly chasing an unattainable goal will drive us all crazy...Maybe what we need to do now is just...live..."

Zooble: "I had dreams...and- and goals...I wanted to be able to leave my mark somewhere in the world. How am I just supposed to abandon that?"

Gangle: "...You've made a mark in my life..."

Zooble: "I-.......I know- it just...really, really sucks..."

Silence came upon you all once again, a more comfortable one though...a peaceful silence...UNTILLLLL the circus started glitching for a few seconds...then it stopped......THENNNN Caine appeared.

Caine: "HELLO MY LITTLE FORTUITOUS FRUITCAKES! Today's adventure is-"

Zooble: "Caine, No, we're not in the mood...You need to answer some of our questions, we have a lot of them."

Caine: "Who has time for questions when there's a whole wacky world of hijinks out there? Alternatively, I don't gotta explain diddly squat! How about we skip all that melodrama and get straight to the fun!"

Pomni: "No! We have a lot on our minds right now, and we're not going on an adventure!"

Caine: "...I see...and...since when were you in charge?"

The others stared up at Caine, surprised by his words. Normally, he would keep trying to convince you all to go on an adventure, but he sounded serious.

Caine: "Do you have any idea how much I do for you guys? How much I obsess over trying to make things perfect? How many insults I have to ignore to do my job? YOU have a lot on your minds? HAHA! Don't make me laugh, I have a new adventure for you all, and you should consider participating..."

Several days later, the adventures have been more chaotic and harsh than usual. But Caine clearly didn't see wrong. You all came back. Jax's eyes were out of his head, Ragatha turned flat, literally. Zooble's body pieces fell apart, and Gangle's happy mask was broken.
