Kokichi Ouma had been a Phantom Thief for many years now, it was originally just supposed to be something small, just to make him feel better about his life. But all of that changed when he managed to drag Shuichi Saihara into it. Kokichi only continued to steal, unable to quit. Shuichi continued to investigate his case until he left the Detective Agency exhausted. At some point, Kokichi began helping Shuichi with the case. He was unsure whether he wanted to hint that he was the Phantom Thief or make the case cold to spare the friendship.

Kokichi was currently at the Detective Agency with Shuichi in Shuichi’s office, he had convinced the other to take a break for once. Shuichi had some coffee while Kokichi had Panta and cake. The conversation still remained on the Phantom Thief much to Kokichi’s annoyance

“Maybe the Phantom Thief wants to be caught by you and only you.” Kokichi mumbled this suggestion before taking a bite of cake, he’d occasionally glance at Shuichi but mostly paid attention to his food.
