    Josh loved sitting in his car. It was maybe the only time of day when he actually had some form of freedom from his parents and their constant rules. He had his CDs, that probably would’ve got him kicked out if he tried to listen to them inside, he had his drumsticks. He was so content.

    He still took the long way home, wanting to finish the songs he was listening to, before he went back to a world where he was so controlled. Josh sometimes wished it could be different, and he was only grateful that he had friends like Tyler that got him. Music was his life, and he was tired of living by his parents’ rules.

    He runs a hand through his black and red hair idly, his brown eyes flicking down to the CD in his hand. He liked this one.
